About me

This is where my journey began

The body remembers what the mind forgets

For me, yoga began with movement. But I soon discovered that asana was just one door. Behind that door lay an endless space full of sensations, full of stories, full of wisdom. A place where the physical and the psychological gently touch.

Every practice opens something new. A muscle, a thought, a memory, a boundary. And every time I think: now I know something, another deeper layer appears. The body whispers, and I want to listen, again and again.

So what at first seemed like mere postures became gateways to knowledge about the body, the mind, and everything in between.

I did my first training at YogaGirl, and then delved into anatomy, fascia, the nervous system, myofascial release...

Deeper and deeper. Richer and richer. And I feel: this won't stop.

My unfolding path

Studying used to feel like something for the head. But yoga made it something for my heart, my body, my breath.

I studied teachers like Tiffany Cruikshank,

Meghan Currie, Janet Stone, Simon Park, Bex Tyrer, ...each with their own unique rhythm, their own sound, their grounding.

And each time it brought me one step closer to myself.

Below is a selection from the path that has unfolded so far:

  • Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training – YogaGirl (200h)
  • Yoga Anatomy – Yoga Medicine (20h)
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine & Yoga – Yoga International (5h)
  • Nervous System & Restorative Yoga – Yoga Medicine (55h)
  • Spine Intensive – Yoga Medicine (55h)
  • SI-joint Specialisation – Yoga Medicine
  • Shoulder Intensive – Yoga Medicine (55h)
  • Women’s Health Yoga – Yoga Medicine (25h)
  • Hip Intensive – Yoga Medicine (55h)
  • Myofascial Release – Yoga Medicine (55h)
  • Lymphatic Yoga – Yoga Medicine (18h)
  • Pranayama Training – Yoga Medicine (18h)
  • Workshops & immersions bij o.a. Meghan Currie, Janet Stone, Tiffany Cruikshank, Bex Tyrer, ...

And the best part? I'm not done yet. There's still so much to feel, to explore, to reveal. Layer after layer. Lesson after lesson.

Do you feel the invitation?

To feel what words don't say, and discover what wants to remain silent?

Stap binnen. Adem diep. Laat los.“Your body is a map of your life story. The practice is the act of reading it with kindness, learning its language, and moving with curiosity.”-Meghan Currie-
